Welcome to Turkey! Upon arrival at Istanbul Airport, you will be greeted and transferred to the hotel. Rest of the day free. Overnight stay.
Breakfast. Departure to visit the Suleiman the Magnificent Mosque located on Istanbul’s third hill with one of the city’s most famous panoramas. Built under the orders of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, it was designed by the renowned imperial architect Sinan. After the visit, free time to explore the city on your own or optionally book other activities. We will continue with a full-day historical tour of Istanbul where you will see the exterior of the Hagia Sophia, the culmination of Byzantine art, and the pearl of Istanbul, the famous Topkapi Palace, the residence of Ottoman sultans for four centuries. Enjoy a typical lunch included at a local restaurant in the Sultanahmet area. We will admire the exterior of the Blue Mosque, a masterpiece of harmony, proportion, and elegance; and the Hippodrome, which houses the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Serpentine Column, the Fountain of Emperor William, and the Egyptian Obelisk. In the late afternoon, we will visit the famous Grand Bazaar, where you will have free time to get lost among its 4,000 shops. Overnight in Istanbul.
Breakfast. Departure for one of the most famous activities in Istanbul, a boat tour on the Bosphorus, the strait that separates Europe and Asia. During the trip, you will see the Sultan’s palaces, old wooden houses, and experience the history in a unique way. Next, we will visit the Spice Bazaar, built by the Ottomans five centuries ago and in use ever since. Our included visit ends at the bazaar where you can enjoy its atmosphere and the variety of shops. Free afternoon to continue exploring this unique and stunning Turkish city. Overnight in Istanbul.
Breakfast. At the designated time, transfer to the airport for your domestic flight to Cappadocia. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Optionally, you can book a Jeep Safari tour in Cappadocia, one of the most exciting adventures in the region that will allow you to explore the area in an off-road vehicle and reach unique landscapes with volcanic formations and valleys. Included dinner at the hotel and overnight in Cappadocia.
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to this fascinating region with its unique landscape formed by lava ejected from the Erciyes and Hasan volcanoes three million years ago. We will visit the Göreme Valley, an incredible Byzantine monastic complex with rock-hewn churches and beautiful frescoes. Then, we will visit the Avcilar Valley and the Pasabagi and Gόvercinlik Valleys, where you can admire the best view of the volcanic formations called “fairy chimneys.” We will also visit the traditional workshops for carpets and Onyx and Turquoise stones. Included dinner at the hotel and overnight in Cappadocia.
Breakfast at the hotel. Early departure to Pamukkale. Arrival and visit to Hierapolis, the ancient Hellenistic city that is now in ruins. Visit the famous Cotton Castle, a natural wonder with massive white waterfalls, stalactites, and natural pools formed over the centuries by water rich in calcium salts from hot springs. Arrival at the hotel, where you will have an included dinner. Overnight in Pamukkale.
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure to Ephesus, an ancient Greco-Roman city, the former capital of Asia Minor, and one of the best-preserved ancient sites. You will see the Temple of Hadrian, Temple of Trajan, the theater, and the Celsus Library. Visit the House of the Virgin Mary, where she spent her final years. Continue to Izmir Airport for your domestic flight to Istanbul. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
Breakfast at the hotel. At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport for your return flight home. End of our services.
