Day 1: Arrival

Welcome to Europamundo. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, you will receive information about the start of your tour through informational signs located at the hotel reception.

IMPORTANT:

  • Remember that hotel check-in is usually at 14:00 hrs. If you need the room for additional hours, consider booking an extra night at the beginning of your tour.
  • IF YOU REQUESTED ADDITIONAL NIGHTS upon arrival at the hotel, your reservation will be made, but your tour guide will typically not be available until the start of the included activities. You can also find an informational sign at reception with the phone number and hours of availability of our staff. YOUR TIME BEFORE THIS MOMENT IS FREE. The hotel staff will assist you with any information you may need.
  • OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES: During your trip, your guide may offer optional activities. If these activities are available on the Europamundo app or in your “My Trip” link, we strongly recommend that, if you’re interested, you book them as early as possible to ensure availability. Often, waiting until the last minute means missing the chance to do them (lack of tickets, lack of bus seats, etc.).

Note: The times listed in this itinerary are approximate. The guide may adjust the schedule based on the situation to improve the flow of the tour.

 


Day 2: Vienna

  • 09:00 hrs. Start of the Vienna panoramic tour, this visit is conducted with a local guide and lasts about two and a half hours. You will see the famous Ringstrasse, Vienna’s main boulevard, the Opera, the exterior of the Hofburg Palace, a walk through the Prater Gardens, Belvedere Palace, and the University. The tour ends at Schönbrunn Palace for those who wish to enter. For those who do not wish to enter, they will be taken back to the city center. Two stops will be made during the visit. In the evening, around 19:00 hrs., we include a transfer to the City Hall Square where you can enjoy its lighting and the lively atmosphere of the surrounding streets. Our guide will provide information about the area. Return to the hotel at 21:30 hrs.

 


Day 3: Vienna · Salzburg · Innsbruck

Distance covered: 485 kmScenery: Austrian Alps. High mountains.

  • 08:00 hrs – Vienna: Depart from Vienna, passing through pleasant landscapes of green hills covered with forests and historical sites.
  • 12:15 hrs – Salzburg: Arrival and free time to explore and have lunch in Mozart’s city. Its old town is a UNESCO World Heritage site, known for its many palaces, churches, and charming squares. You can visit Altstadt, where Mozart’s house is located, or the impressive, well-preserved medieval fortress.
  • 15:30 hrs – Departure from Salzburg. We head towards the Tyrol region, entering the Alps.
    18:00 hrs – Innsbruck, arrival in this small city, the capital of Tyrol, surrounded by the towering mountains of the Alps. You will have time to stroll through its charming and peaceful historic center, where the Imperial Palace and the Golden Roof stand out.

Day 4: Innsbruck · Zugspitze · Reutte · Feldkirch

  • 08:00 hrs Innsbruck · departure: Today we will enjoy a stage full of excitement among extraordinary landscapes.
  • 09:45 hrs Zugspitze: In the Alps, on the border between Austria and Germany, we will go to the highest peak of Germany, Zugspitze. We will access it via the modern cable car (included). On good days, we can see a panoramic view of the snow-capped peaks of 4 countries! Time to walk and have lunch.
  • 13:30 hrs Zugspitze · Departure.
  • 14:30 hrs Reutte · Highline 179: We will walk on the world’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge, in Tibetan style, as recognized by the Guinness World Records (entrance included). This bridge stretches approximately 406 meters and will give us a unique floating experience between the mountains with incredible views.
  • 15:45 hrs Reutte · Departure. We continue towards Feldkirch-
  • 18:00 hrs Feldkirch · Arrival: Arrival in this charming walled Austrian city near the border with Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and Germany. Time to walk through its medieval old town and castle.

Day 5: Feldkirch · Lindau · Dachau · Munich

  • 08:00 hrs. – Feldkirch. We cross into Germany.
  • 09:00 hrs. – Lindau.- The old city is located on an island (accessed via a bridge) on Lake Constance. Time for a walk.
  • 10:15 hrs. – Lindau –departure-.
  • 12:45 hrs. – Dachau.– Concentration camp-museum on the outskirts of Munich. In this impressive place, we will remember the difficult historical period of Nazism. Time to visit the site and have lunch.

In the early afternoon, we head to Munich where we will visit the impressive BMW WELT (BMW World), a state-of-the-art multifunctional exhibition facility of the BMW group, the prestigious German car brand. We will also see the park where the Olympiastadion is located, a stunning architectural site where the famous 1972 Olympic Games took place. After that, there will be free time in the historic center to stroll around Marienplatz, the heart of Munich, visit its picturesque Viktualienmarkt open-air market, relax in the Englischer Garten, or have a beer in its traditional breweries.

(Note: During the Oktoberfest period, the hotel may be located near Munich.)


Day 6: Munich · Fussen · Rotemburgo · Frankfurt

  • 07:30 hrs. Munich · Departure.
  • 09:30 hrs. Fussen · Arrival: In this Bavarian city, surrounded by mountains, we find Neuschwanstein Castle. With our guide, we will walk to the Maria Bridge to enjoy the fantastic landscapes between gorges. You can return to the bus by horse carriage (not included).
  • 11:30 hrs. – Fussen · Departure: We travel towards the Rhineland. Stop at a highway service area for lunch.
  • 15:15 hrs. Rotemburgo · Arrival: For many, the most beautiful town in Germany, located on the Romantic Road. Its walls and wonderfully preserved medieval old town. We include entry to the CHRISTMAS MUSEUM. Time to stroll.
  • 16:45 hrs. Rotemburgo · Departure.
  • 19:15 hrs. Frankfurt · Arrival: Before we check into the hotel, our guide will give you some time near the Romer Platz, in the city center. Free time.

Day 7: Frankfurt · Cruise · Cochem · Cologne · Dortmund

  • 08:00 hrs. Frankfurt · Departure: Today we explore the Rhine and Moselle valleys. Two rivers full of history and dotted with charming towns.
  • 09:00 hrs. Rudesheim am Rhein: We meet the Rhine River in this picturesque medieval town full of tourist and commercial life. After some time to stroll, we embark for a Rhine Cruise of about two hours. We are in the most beautiful part of the river: castles, medieval towns, old churches, and vineyards on the hillsides. Arrival at St. Goar and continue along small roads towards the Moselle Valley.
  • 12:15 hrs. Cochem. Arrival and time for lunch: We are in one of the most beautiful towns in the valley, dominated by its imposing castle, which dates back over a thousand years.
  • 15:00 hrs. Cochem · Departure: We continue traveling along the Rhine.
  • 16:45 hrs. Cologne · Arrival: Time to visit its impressive Gothic cathedral, which, at 154 meters tall, was the tallest building in the world until the end of the 19th century. You can also stroll along the Rhine River and through the lively city center.
  • 19:00 hrs. Cologne: Departure towards our hotel.
  • 20:15 hrs. Dortmund: Arrival and accommodation.

Day 8: Dortmund – Fairy Tale Route – Hannover

  • Today we will have a magical stage remembering many of the tales and movies from our childhood as we visit towns that inspired the Brothers Grimm and that now make up the Fairy Tale Route.
  • 08:00 hrs. Dortmund, departure.
  • 10:15 hrs. Trendelburg– Arrival at this picturesque walled village dominated by its large medieval castle. We visit the castle with its Rapunzel Tower (entrance included), from where the princess’s long blonde braid still hangs.
  • 11:15 hrs. Trendelburg departure. We continue along small roads, crossing forests while imagining Hansel and Gretel.
  • 12:00 hrs. Hoxter. Arrival and time for lunch in this lively little city, home to the Corvey Abbey, a 9th-century UNESCO World Heritage Site (an exterior stop for photos of its walls and inner courtyards).
  • 14:30 hrs. Hoxter – departure- We continue our route with a brief stop in POLLE to photograph the ruins of the Cinderella Castle.
  • 15:45 hrs. Hamelin. We find ourselves in the city made famous by the story of The Pied Piper of Hamelin. We will enjoy recalling the Brothers Grimm tale and following the trail of the mice. Time to stroll.
  • 17:30 hrs. Hamelin – departure.
  • 18:30 hrs. Hannover – Arrival. A stroll through the center before heading to our hotel.Note: On some dates, accommodation may be provided in Cologne or another nearby city. In that case, departure from Cologne on Thursday will be at 07:30 hrs.

 


Day 9: Hannover- Goslar- Quedlinburg- Berlin.-

  • 08:00 hrs. Hannover · Departure.
  • 09:30 hrs. Goslar: Arrival in one of the most beautiful towns in Germany, with its historic houses and market square. Time to stroll.
  • 11:15 hrs. Goslar · Departure: We continue our route through one of the most beautiful areas of Germany.
  • 12:00 hrs- Quedlinburg- arrival: UNESCO declared this city a World Heritage Site due to its fascinating historical center, which has survived almost intact for centuries with its more than 2,100 half-timbered houses. The town hall and castle-collegiate are also notable. Free time to stroll and have lunch. Lunch included for passengers on half board.
  • 14:15 hrs- Quedlinburg departure: We travel towards the capital of Germany.
  • 17:00 hrs. -Berlin -Arrival: Free time (or a visit upon arrival, depending on the time of year).

 


Day 10: Berlin

  • 08:00 hrs. Frankfurt departure: Today we will explore the Rhine Valley and the Moselle Valley. Two rivers full of history, surrounded by charming towns.

 


Day 11: Berlin

After breakfast, our services will conclude, with the hope of having provided an unforgettable experience.

Note: Remember that hotel check-out is usually at 10:00 hrs. In most cases, you can leave your luggage at the hotel reception at check-out time to continue enjoying the city and pick it up at the time you need on the same day. If you need more time in the room, consider booking an additional night at the end of your tour.
