Itinerary

Day 1

• Board your spacious bus equipped with video and restrooms and head towards beautiful Savannah, Georgia, for a four-night stay. Tonight, enjoy a relaxing dinner and check in to a hotel in the Savannah area.

Day 2

• After a continental breakfast, begin your journey with a guided tram tour of Savannah, the “Belle of Georgia.” You will see extraordinary architectural wonders, beautiful oak-lined streets, and charming “squares.” Then, enjoy hop-on, hop-off privileges on the tram for the rest of the day. Spend free time on historic River Street, with its unique 18th-century “cobblestone” streets and 19th-century cotton warehouses now home to excellent restaurants, unusual shops, and antique galleries. Tonight, enjoy a dinner with entertainment before returning to your hotel for the night.

Day 3

• After enjoying a continental breakfast, depart for a guided tour of St. Simons Island. Take a walk through moss-draped oaks or shop at the interesting boutiques and specialty shops in the historic area.
• Later, take a guided tram tour of Jekyll Island. See how the wealthiest citizens of the nation, such as J.P. Morgan and William Rockefeller, lived and played, including a stop at what was once the exclusive “Millionaires Club.”
• After dinner, enjoy a night show at the famous Savannah Theater, then return to your hotel to rest for the next fun-filled day.

Day 4

• Today, after a continental breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of Magnificent Beaufort, SC – “Queen of the Carolina Sea Islands.” Beaufort’s history dates back to the 1500s. Its impressive mansions and landscapes served as the backdrop for several major movies such as “The Big Chill” and “Forrest Gump.”
• You will also tour the Parris Island Marine Corps Base, where 22,000 men and women complete their training each year.
• Highlights of your tour include the Iwo Jima Memorial, Parade Field, and the Parris Island Museum. Tonight, enjoy a pleasant dinner before returning to your hotel for the night.

Day 5

• Today, after enjoying a continental breakfast, head home… a perfect time to chat with your friends about all the fun things you’ve done, the great places you’ve seen, and where your next group trip will be.
