We include a panoramic tour of the capital of Italy, one of the oldest and most influential cities in Western civilization. The Colosseum, Roman forums, squares, and fountains of the city center, the lively atmosphere of the city. We end at ST. We travel to the Tuscan capital: FLORENCE. Upon arrival, we stop for a photo at the Michelangelo viewpoint where we can take one of the most beautiful views of the city. After that, we include a guided tour of the Tuscan capital, one of the most visited cities in the country, considered the cradle of the Renaissance and home to some of the most influential artists and thinkers in history, such as Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Botticelli, and Raphael. Highlights include the Gothic cathedral (duomo), the old Stone Bridge (Ponte Vecchio) with its goldsmith shops, and the Piazza della Signoria – the political heart of the city with its medieval town hall. We leave Florence early, traveling north through the Apennines. VENICE. We include a boat transfer to the city center where we take a walking tour of the San Marco area, home to the Basilica and Campanile. We will also visit a Murano glass factory, where we can admire traditional glassmaking techniques. Accommodation in the Mestre area.
We depart following the Po Valley towards Switzerland. A stage of great scenic beauty as we enter the region of the Alpine lakes. LUGANO, time to have lunch and stroll around the capital of the Italian-speaking region of Switzerland, located on the shores of the large lake. After lunch, we cross the Alps through the St. Gotthard tunnel. LUCERNE, arrival in the mid-afternoon. Time to explore this beautiful Swiss city on the shores of Lake Lucerne. ZURICH, arrival at the end of the day, a walk along the lake.
We depart Zurich towards the French region of Alsace to visit its capital, STRASBOURG, a charming city that blends French and German influences. Time to explore the city. After lunch, we continue our journey to PARIS, arriving at the end of the day.
We include a transfer to the Palace of Versailles. You can stroll through its beautiful gardens or visit its interior if you wish (entrance not included). After that, we will head to the bohemian Montmartre district, with its outdoor artists and small restaurants. Time for lunch and then a panoramic tour of Paris with a local guide. Return to the hotel. Optionally, you can attend a variety show.
Free day in this beautiful city. We recommend visiting the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, and optionally taking a boat ride along the Seine River and through the Latin Quarter. Accommodation.
