Welcome to Spain! Upon arrival in Barcelona you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Rest of free time. In the afternoon you will receive information for the start of your circuit through the information posters located at the hotel reception. At night you will enjoy a welcome dinner included.
In the morning we include a visit to the city of Barcelona, open to the Mediterranean Sea, famous for Gaudí and its modernist architecture, for its promenades and memories of the Universal Exhibitions and Olympics that took place there. Barcelona is considered one of the most beautiful and interesting European capitals. Free afternoon. At night we include a transfer to the Maremágnum, an avant-garde leisure center and restaurants next to the sea and Plaza de Colon.
We leave Barcelona. In the Penedés region, known for its sparkling wines, we visited one of its important wineries (entrance included). Later, we traveled to ZARAGOZA with time to have lunch and visit the Basilica del Pilar. Continuation to MADRID and arrival around 8:30 p.m.
Free morning. In the afternoon we take a panoramic tour during which we will visit the most representative monumental points of the city. At night we include a transfer to the Plaza Mayor where we can take the opportunity to have dinner and have some wines at an inn.
We include an excursion to the historic city of TOLEDO, protected by the Tagus River. Its medieval streets tell us about stories of Christians, Jews and Muslims. Free afternoon in MADRID. Tonight, if you wish, we optionally offer you a flamenco show.
We leave Madrid, we travel to the capital of Extremadura: MÉRIDA, entrance included to the archaeological complex of the Roman Theater and Amphitheater, of excellent conservation, today they are a World Heritage Site. Time for lunch in the pleasant pedestrian historic center with lots of life and restaurants. Continuing to Portugal we will stop in ÉVORA, a city also declared a World Heritage Site, with its white streets, its Renaissance palaces and its cathedral. LISBON, arrival in the late afternoon.
In the morning we will take a panoramic tour of the city during which we will get to know the Portuguese capital of the 7 hills, the alleys and the tiles, the «saudade» and the Atlantic light. We will also approach the Belem neighborhood from where the great Portuguese navigators who crossed the oceans in the 15th century left. Free afternoon to walk and go to the Barrio Alto and its viewpoint; If you wish, you can take an optional excursion to the towns of Sintra, Cascais and Estoril. At night we return from the Plaza de los Restauradores, full of atmosphere with its bars and cafes, to the hotel.
Free day in Lisbon. We recommend visiting the Jerónimos Monastery, exploring the Plaza del Comercio, having lunch in a typical restaurant and touring Alfama and the Castle of San Jorge. Take tram 28 for a picturesque tour, ending with dinner in the Bairro Alto, enjoying fado music.
At the appropriate time, transfer to the airport to take your flight home. End of our services.
